Thank you Litsy for putting this book on my radar. I appreciated Blair‘s take on the need for men to take responsibility for preventing unwanted pregnancies. Succinct and thought provoking, I will be convincing everyone I can to read this.

Reggie There‘s this book I read that was sci-fi and had to do with parallel universes and in one of them there was a vasectomy subsidy that men could get if they chose to got snipped. It sounded like a cool option. 4w
Jas16 @Reggie That is a cool idea. 4w

The Washington Post said it perfectly in their review
”Blair‘s fresh reframe should be required reading for any person who has sex, wants to have sex or is raising someone who might have sex in the future. This slender book has what it takes to be the foundation for a movement.”

#12Booksof2023 @Andrew65

I didn‘t read much that month. I should say this was my favorite that month and also Joyland by Stephen King-very unpopular opinion in this one but I liked Joyland

Andrew65 I love Joyland! 4mo
BarbaraBB I loved this one too. 4mo
Gissy @Andrew65 maybe slow but many psychological things happened there. I like character driven stories. 4mo
Gissy @BarbaraBB Yes and that edition is so pretty 4mo
BarbaraBB I have the same. It‘s so pretty indeed 4mo

In a perfect world, men would read this and be convinced of how and why they should ejaculate responsibly, resulting in fewer unwanted pregnancies and shifting the conversation about abortion away from blaming and legislating women alone. Alas, we don't live in a perfect world 😕 with its bold font, in your face statements, and startling statistics, I enjoyed this book. I hope one day it will be read far and wide and maybe change some minds.

4 ⭐This book is simple but perfect. It gives each color and that it is for boys and girls, or for girls and boys. It‘s also for something you see in society. Things like brown is for teddy bears and green is for glass. This book makes sure to say that all colors are for everyone, and that pink is not just a girl‘s color and blues is not just a boys colors. Colors are for everyone. An important lesson for the modern US society.

Morris Micklewhite and the Tangerine Dress is a children's picture book written by Christine Baldacchino and illustrated by Isabelle Malenfant. The illustrations bring this story to life. The title refers to the color tangerine which is very clear to children what type of color that is by looking at the illustrations. Many of the other colors throughout the pictures are dull to make the color orange the star of the book. Very cute story!
