I‘m not sure what happening in my brain right now 🧠👀 This is quite an interesting selection of books I‘ve got going on.📚 Maybe I‘ve hit a reading slump?? I‘m trying to work through it-I‘ve been so excited about all of these!! Plus, I have a few days of reading time coming up!!

Lately I‘ve been reading more misses than hits. I don‘t know if it‘s the books, me, or a combo of both. I have had fun participating in #litsyatoz, but because I‘ve been doing mostly that, I haven‘t been reading books I might choose next otherwise. Then again, I haven‘t been feeling well and that‘s makes me preoccupied, too. Now I‘m a little over halfway through this book, so I feel I have to see it through. Sigh. End rant. Can anyone relate?

monalyisha I have a hard time quitting books, too! What if it gets better & you miss it?! 😅 I like doing challenges/book clubs, but I find I‘ve also gotta give myself some freedom every month. Good luck! 🤞🏻 6y

AWahle Definitely! But don't let how far you've gotten in the book make you finish it if you aren't feeling it. There are too many books out there to spend time with ones that are bad fits. 6y

Kaye I don‘t waste time on bad books, or books that may be good, but not of interest to me. There have got to be millions more out there left to read . I have no problem with chucking a book and moving on . I don‘t like restricted or required reading . I like the freedom to pick what I want as the mood is right. 6y

Yeah_I_Read I have been going through a hardcore reading slump this month 😫😫 I feel your pain. The silver lining for me though is that I watched two really good movies and a tv series; I also realized that one of my fav musicians came out with a new cd that I have now listened to several times. You‘ll get through it ❤️❤️❤️ 6y

mrozzz Do you read other books simultaneously? I like to read several at a time so that even if I hit a wall with a book I actually like I can pick up something else to get a different voice & pacing. 6y

thereadingowlvina I usually pick up some good graphic novels to help me get through my reading slump. I mean I still want to read, just not novels. So something light and entertaining with colourful illustrations helps 😊 6y

Purrfectpages @mrozzz I‘ve always been a one book at a time sort of gal. Partly because of having the time, partly bc of needing to focus. I also teach so I‘m juggling whatever we are reading in class, too. 6y
