Me Talk Pretty One Day | David Sedaris

Like many others, my #favbookishsiblings are the Weasley family (minus Percy), especially Fred and George. But in the interest of variety, I'll post a picture of my favorite author siblings, Amy and David Sedaris. Their books are always fun to read. #augustphotochallenge

Shortstack I love that you specified minus Percy. 😂 8y
Dragon Good choice I thought of them too as a solid bronze medal with the Bennet's as gold and the Weasley's silver 8y
Tammygrrrl Have you ever watched Strangers With Candy? 8y

Joe, Beth and Frannie! #favbookishsiblings

Jhullie Have they changed their names? I remember Joe, Bess and Fanny. 8y
McFarchie @Jhullie you are spot on. Different versions have different names and spelling. 8y

#favbookishsiblings. Did I get that hashtag right? I usually don't (may edit it right, though). Anyway, this was my first Jesse Bullington. And it's right-now gone from my shelf. Forever, I think. But I'll get it again. His next two are even cooler. And, he's also Alex Marshall. Amazing writer. Knows fantasy inside out, and back around again.

BookishFeminist You got the hashtag 👌🏼 8y

I haven't seen this one yet, so I'll add it! I loved this family so much when I was young! #favbookishsiblings And yes, my copy looked like this, with the obviously older clothing styles! 😆

This series is all about brothers and sisters and their "complicated" relationships. Family drama! Sibling rivalry! Forced marriages! Incest! It's GOT it all! #augustofpages #day12 #favbookishsiblings #favsiblings @TheSpinecrackersBookClub @BookishFeminist

BookishFeminist There are so many REALLY CREEPY siblings in this book and show. 😂 8y
BookHermit @BookishFeminist I know, right? You really have to watch your back in Westeros 👑⚔🔪⚰ 8y
TheSpinecrackersBookClub This post is fabulous! 😃 8y

ScrappyMags The only books that I think the show is better!! It's a messed up world! Lol 8y
Bookzombie I love your post! 8y
Bookgirl I really need to read these books... 8y
WordWaller Nice choice! 👌 8y
BookHermit @ScrappyMags The show is truly an entity in its own right at this point. HBO has done a fabulous job but I am very curious to see what GRRM will do with the next book--if he ever finishes it! 😩 8y
BookHermit @Bookgirl I really enjoyed them but the tv show has corrupted my memory of cannon events quite a bit. 8y
Bookgirl @BookHermit I haven't watched the show either. Major pop culture fail! 8y
BookHermit @Bookgirl Lol. I only just started reading the Harry Potter series with my kids so I can relate 😳 8y

My absolute #favbookishsiblings are Isabel and Rae (and David) from Lisa Lutz's Spellman series. They're just crazy and funny and offbeat. Love them! #augustphotochallenge

Suzze The Spellmans are amazing! 8y
