This, the trauma of grief & domestic violence combine to create a #chilling #spooky and #confronting tale from the perspective of a woman who has come close to losing herself. Gritty realism combined with #paranormal to make a compelling tale that is uniquely #Australian and yet will speak to common experiences.

wordsofbek @DarcysMom it was a very atmospheric read. Worth the hype I think. Put it this way, I love horror movies and never get freaked out. I read this book in in one night, couldn't put it down and was creeped out by some of it! Takes a bit to freak me, so I consider that exceptional writing! 😀 Let me know how you go if you read it! 5y
