Just know that this story is angsty but also incredibly beautiful. It was frustrating at times & hurting but also filled me with so many beautiful emotions it was difficult to contain them. I am glad I trusted Scott & read it even knowing about the love triangle or I would've missed an epic love & friendship story. It was like reading poetry, the writing was just beautiful.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What a beautiful book! had so much emotion to it and I liked the parts the two characters played. This story broke my heart at a point but I kept reading in hopes of a happy ending. Was it? That you have to find out by reading this one! But, honestly? There just aren't enough Colleen Hoover books in this world and there're never gonna be.

You're doing great.

mavey My God! My thoughts exactly! There aren't enough Colleen Hoover books! Can't wait for Reminders of Him! 3y
damselsgotballs @Mavey Yes!! She became my favorite author after 'Maybe Someday' and has never disappointed me ever since.💜🍁📚 3y
mavey @damselsgotballs I fell in love with her after 'It Ends With Us'! Such heartwarming and gutwrenching stories she writes! Gets you hooked from the first sentence! 'All Your Perfects' is my ForeverFave! What's yours? 3y

damselsgotballs @Mavey They're all really good, so it's difficult to choose. But if I had to then 'It ends with us' would be the one. You should check out 'Loving Mr. Daniels' by Brittainy C. Cherry, if you'd like. It's one of favorites and I think you're going to love it too. Cheers.🍁 3y
mavey @damselsgotballs I just checked it out, seems a lot like CoHo's Slammed! Will try reading it soon! Thanks for the rec Palak! 3y
mavey @damselsgotballs Oh Lily and Ryle will always have a special place in my heart😢😍! I loved the ending so much but I kinda will always wish so bad that things could have been different for those two💝 3y
damselsgotballs @Mavey I kinda agree, it was heartbreaking, reading about her making that decision but at the same time, it was the right thing to do. CoHo has a way of blending the characters' flaws and perfections so beautifully that they'll stay with you forever. 😍🍁 3y
mavey I completely stand by Lily's decision. It was the best for everyone. I love Ryle, kinda felt helplessly angry when he made wrong choices, but by then end, I just couldn't help but wistfully think about the if-only.I agree, CoHo is just superb! In all of her stories that I've read, she always gives us a peep into those who made wrong decisions and made them human and has emphasized on usreaders to be kind to ourselves and others when things gobad💖 3y
damselsgotballs @Mavey I agree. That just sums it up. 😊🍁 3y

It‘s hard to “enjoy” reading this kind of memoir of a terminal illness but I was glad to have read this one.

Back when Book Riot had a subscription box, this was one of the selections I received. I am so glad because I probably wouldn‘t have read this otherwise. It‘s a great, thoughtful look at mortality and how modern medicine may not always have the human individual‘s best interests at heart. It immediately came to mind for today‘s #ConflictedWords prompt, #PersonVsDeath

Eggs I agree about modern medicine not having human interests at its heart ❤️ 3y
MallenNC @Eggs He writes about how medical school trains doctors to look for the next test or next operation and not at whether that course of action is right for the person‘s quality of life. That‘s the main focus of the book for me, what is “quality of life”? 3y
Eggs Yes as if “doctoring harder” is the answer @MallenNC 3y
