Howard Roark “the question isn‘t who is going to let me, it‘s who is going to stop me.” #coffeewithacanadianbookbinge Comment your favourite Howard thought or moment?

Texreader I️ ❤️ The Fountainhead but it‘s been over thirty years since I read it. Doesn‘t seem that long ago... 6y
coffeewithacanadian @Texreader wow! I haven‘t read it in a while either lol but it is my life long goal to re read Atlas Shrugged every 10 years. I wish I could find a book club who wanted to read The Fountainhead and discuss but it‘s not for everyone. 6y
ChristieStratos I love this book! I listened to it as an audiobook and really enjoyed it. I think it was a mistake for me to read Atlas Shrugged first because this book is much more clear in terms of learning about Rand‘s philosophy in my opinion. Now I want to reread Atlas Shrugged so I can really grasp it. 6y

Pickpick

Great classic read set within an intriguing dystopian society. Imagine a world where everything we know is backwards such as firemen who ignite fires rather than quench them. The themes in this book are relevant today and comparable to the notions and ideas of certain world leaders.
