I very rarely read descriptions of books before I start them… so at about 20% in when this book that I assumed was a contemporary romance/comedy suddenly took a turn, I was very 😲.

I peeked at the tagged genres in GR and this book went from one I was already really enjoying to something potentially even better. 😅

I don't think I've quite gotten to the point the two of you are possibly referring to, but I can't wait to get there! 😊 I am thoroughly enjoying it and absolutely loving the characters... dialogue... all of it! Did either of you worry about August and her (possibly missing) classes?? Or was that just me being a grown-up while reading?? 3y

I could also possibly be misunderstanding? Assuming something is happening that isn't? But truly... me thinking like a working adult while reading sometimes spoils the fun 🙃 3y
