What do you do for your elf on the shelf? This is my idea for a literary themed Elf of the shelf for my kids this year. I am not very creative but I can stick a new book in front of this guy each night! If you do anything creative, please tag me! GingerAntics Stalking elves kind of freak me out. I'm glad I don't have kids come this time of year. I know people who outright refuse to do this. I don't blame them. It seems a little creepy. Then again, I know parents who decided they weren't doing the Santa thing, either. Their kids have known all along that they're the ones giving them presents. 5y

vkois88 🤔🤔🤔 What about different activities based on the book? Like... if the characters build a fort, make a tiny one and leave a little question about the chapter it was in, or if it's younger kids, ask them to make their own fort for him to find? Stuff like that? Or have him make miniatures of any treats that characters eat? If that makes sense... I'm not gonna lie to you, I don't do this or intend to do it for my LO. Not bc the thought of coming 5y
