I watched 2 webinars recently. I watched 1 about trees hosted by my library and 1 about birds hosted by American Bird Conservancy. I really enjoyed them. The next thing that‘s happening from 4/24-4/26 is the Battlefield Of The Mind Conference hosted by Joyce Meyer. I bought a livestream ticket for this already. I read her book “Battlefield Of The Mind” years ago and I liked it so I‘m looking forward to watching the conference this weekend.

I have enjoyed this series. It's a very sweet, clean romance series with two families - one from America and one from Ireland. They are books I love when I need a historical romance with low drama and great characters of strong faith. #lovelyread #cleanromance

Bailedbailed

I started reading this with my Bible study group (years ago) and I kept telling myself I would pick it back up. It is a difficult read in which I would have to keep looking up words to even know what I was reading. With my busy life I need to be more realistic and decided to finally bail on picking this back up.

This year I‘m listening to an audio devotional leading up to Easter. It‘s a good length most mornings to pair with a news podcast on my drive to school. Today I completed the Lent portion before church and moved on to the first for Holy Week.

Unbelievable ~ after almost 10 years of being on Goodreads and entering Giveaways, I received an email on Monday and the book arrived today. Frankly, I hate the word “offended”. I can‘t imagine a better time in my life to read this book and make that ONE change to rid my heart of anger.

CogsOfEncouragement Congrats! I really loved this book. I have to guess you found me by my posts about it. Enjoy! 4w

Sweet story about finding joy in hard circumstances with lovely imagery of the Welsh countryside. Not as complete of a story as my all time favorite St. John, Treasures of the Snow, but nonetheless a lovely spring read.

This is the second book in the series. I liked it, although time span went a little too fast between the first and the second book. I rated this book a 3 out of 5 stars.

This took way longer to read than it should have. Disappointing read until last 50-ish pages. Don‘t think I‘ll be reading the rest of the series unless I hear some REALLY great things about it from y‘all 🫤

dabbe I could only stomach the 1st two in this series. Being agnostic, these are hard pills to swallow for me. 2mo

When I was in high school I read and loved this series. Returning to them now when it feels like the world is in such chaos, felt like a warm hug. Some plot points are obviously dated, but I loved rereading these books that I adored when I was so young.
