I decided to start this one today when I found myself growing bored with every other title I picked up (it's been one of *those* weeks), and blew through 100+ pages like it was nothing. Granted I still have nearly 400 more to go, but so far I'm completely intrigued. I've read a decent number of reviews from disappointed readers, and I'm really hoping I won't be one of them. 🤞🏻 #currentlyreading #breakingoutofthereadingslump

AmbityScambity @Cinfhen I am definitely understanding why the storyline isn't drawing everyone in. It seems to be a fairly mellow plot thus far. But at the same time, I've got a lot of questions about what's going on and it seems to be motivating me to keep turning the pages. If you continue with it, good luck! 7y

AmbityScambity @Cinfhen But that's an honest review in itself: it didn't hold my interest and I couldn't finish it. I've submitted reviews like that before and I've given a couple examples of what exactly didn't work for me so that others could see where I was coming from. Sometimes the things that don't work for me in a book work really well for someone else, which is why I like to explain. 7y
