Part 2 of my #boredJanuary book haul arrived today. For whatever reason I'm in the mood to revisit this classic. Read it in my 20s, then in my 30s, so I guess I'll try to squeeze in another re-read before my 40s end.

kspenmoll Just loved this saga! 2y
merelybookish @kspenmoll Me too. So much depth...and breadth. 2y
readordierachel I love the idea of revisiting this each decade. I've only read it once, but I want to read it again too. 2y

DGRachel I should reread it soon. I loved it when I read it in college. 2y
Ruthiella I‘ve only read it the one time but also loved it. For a long book, it reads pretty fast. 2y
batsy Nice! One of the best. I too love the idea of a reread every decade. 2y
merelybookish @readordierachel @batsy It hasn't been intentional but has just sort of worked out that way. I felt called to re-read it and then realized the pattern. 2y
merelybookish @DGRachel It's a very rereadable book! 2y
merelybookish @Ruthiella Agreed...unlike War & Peace for instance. (In my experience.) 2y

Part 1 of My #boredJanuary bookhaul has arrived. 🎉 I first heard about this trilogy (considered a postmodern classic) by Hungarian writer Agota Kristof in an essay by Jhumpa Lahiri.

LeahBergen It sounds fascinating. 👍 2y
