Back in the day when Tom Cruise was cast as Lestat, one of my favorite characters, like many I was upset bc come on. But I have to admit he pulled it off. And combined with Brad Pitt's beautiful Louie and Kirsten Dunst's amazing performance as Claudia I was able to forgive the changes from book to screen and this has become one of my favorite #booktosilverscreen adaptations. I wish they had continued on with the books at the time. #julyinbooks18
