My suggestions for #CampLitsy24
—The Cemetery of untold Stories because I enjoyed her previous books & the whole concept of the book fascinates me.
— The Swans of Harlem- to learn more about the lives of these special women- intrigues me
— There‘s Always This Year- on Basketball and Ascension — I love basketball - on basketball & storytelling
— The Hunter - Tana French‘s novels/thrillers are engaging, at times disturbing, unique characters
#CampLitsy24 my four 📙📘📗📕
Not my usual genre.
Three talented ballet dancers at a conservatory. Three competitive dance moms. A feckless French star turned ballet dancer looking to film his redemption and search for a scholarship student to Paris. Backstabbing, jealousy, burnout, grief, ambition, arson.
I enjoyed this - it would make a great drama of a miniseries.

I tried print and audio. A whole lot of telling going on and I‘m bored. I think I‘d be better off reading Mathilda Kschessinska‘s own Dancing in Petersburg.

Engrossing to the point that I got irritated when I was interrupted near the end. Loved the ballet focus and the variety of personalities and goals between the moms and the daughters. Do I wish there was more comeuppance for Savvy and Josie? Sure. But it didn't spoil my enjoyment. #fiction
