I gave it over 50 pages, but could not finish it. How this beat out Margaret Atwood or Sarah Perry for the shortlist is beyond me. On to the next one. #baileyswomensprizeshortlist

SharonGoforth @Michelle_mck Yes, which is why I kept reading even though I didn't care for it. But it simply didn't work for me. Hopefully you'll have better luck than I did. I have a feeling this is one of those you either love or hate. 7y
