Book #1 in the Stage Dive series. I have already read 2 and 3. Enjoyed it and now that I have read, wonder what took me so long to get to it since I had read others in the series. While I in no way think it depicts rock star life, it is fiction after all, I liked the characters and was invested from the very beginning. Now I want to finish this series.

Enthrall was a very good read. I loved the storyline and the characters in the book. I wanted more BDSM scenes though, and the love scenes between Richard and Mia were subpar. But I guess since this is book one, the author has decided to treat this novel as an introduction to what is expected in book 2.

psalva I did some research on Tagore at university for a literary criticism class and found his work to be really subtle, sprinkled with internal conflict in interesting ways. I‘m really just familiar with his poems. I‘m curious to see how his novels are. Definitely an author I don‘t see talked about much. 3mo

It follows Twilight, but told in the point of view of Edward.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I surprisingly really enjoyed this one. It was better than Bella‘s POV. I loved the connection Edward and Alice shared, and how they communicated through their special abilities. It included some cool details, but also a couple boring scenes the book could‘ve done without. If you like Twilight, I would definitely recommend.

I think my favourite of this series of chapbooks (so far). The story centres on a writer asked to judge an essay competition. When the winner withdraws the essay from publication, she is suspicious, thinking that the government has censored the author. Speaking to the author, and their family, brings up wider issues of censorship, kidnapped and assassinated authors.
