ElizaMarie Ha. I love this “common sense“ by the powers that be. WE had a very similar situation during a hurricane/tropical storm when I was in orientation for a job. The whole parking lot was flooding, some cars were looking like they might even get to the point where damage might be done. They weren't “sure“ if they would end orientation early so everyone can shelter, so they make us take a 1 hour lunch break and then when we came back they sent us home 4mo
TheBookHippie @ElizaMarie it‘s insanity at its best. We have ten free days to start with for weather and the last time we went over the governor excused it. They don‘t want to add to the end of the year because it would COST THEM MONEY to pay teachers extra. It‘s always about MONEY. Always. 4mo
