Just started this 2009 backlist title about a vigilante group in the 14th century, the beguinage in the village, and the aristocracy that rules the village as well...
Years ago at work, I scored an ARC of ‘The Owl Killers‘ but didn‘t get around to reading it before it was published, so when the e-book edition popped up on sale, I grabbed it! Sadly, the design elements (by Simon M. Sullivan) didn‘t make it to the digital format.

drokka I loved the concept of this book, and enjoy Maitland's writing style. I'd read more from her, but she is tough to find in Canada without paying an arm and a leg. 6y
