I wasn't sure if I was going to like the idea of Gus and Teddy considering their interactions in the previous two books but with the way that Sage has set up the groundwork in the previous two and into this story, and actually getting to read the books from both of their alternating perspectives, she changed my mind.
#SummerCardSwap mail going out today. We‘re on baby-watch, so I wanted to be sure to get these out before grandbaby #5 arrives sometime today. 🙂🤞🏻
Low pick. This was a bit long and I don‘t like long romances. Rosie gets sexually harassed by her boss and then fired, so she goes back home to her small town. Ford is from a rich family, but earns his own money and decides to start his own business in this small town. Rosie and Ford reconnect after 10 years and romance ensues.
Finished 5/20.
This is a hard one to sum up - it‘s about a marriage that is falling apart after the individual‘s dreams don‘t work out the way they hoped. The characters are well drawn, but it took so long for the book to get moving. I had to switch from print to audio to keep me reading in time for our book group discussion. #wickedwords : bet, school
Charlie‘s come to work at Lovelight farms for a bit. Nova‘s not looking for love, but she‘s attracted to him. They think one night will be enough. What happens when it‘s not? What happens when Charlie has to return home?
This was such a cute ending to a beloved series that I really enjoyed & definitely recommend. This one‘s my second favorite, after Mixed Signals.

My favorite book for the last of April was Rival by Penelope Douglas. My favorite for the month is Wild Love but Eleanor and Park was a close second.
