It was a pleasure to get to read to two kindergarten classes as part of #readacrossamericaday 😁📚📖

LittlePixels So cool! I homeschool, so I just have one student, but we grabbed some snacks and drinks then sat on the couch and read together. We both love to read, so it was really just an excuse for a mini holiday. 😉#raisingreaders 💕 2y

Happy birthday Dr Seuss and Happy #readacrossamericaday !! Today I'll be reading Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult and maybe I'll go to B&N and read some Dr. Seuss. What are you doing to celebrate? #magicalmarch #dreams #ampersand2018

I couldn‘t resist sharing my girl this morning! She chose to be Young Harper Lee from one of our favorite new children‘s books. I couldn‘t be more proud of her choice! #ReadAcrossAmericaDay

aprilpohren She is adorable!! 💖 4y
jessijames Thank you so much @aprilpohren! I‘m glad she chose to step outside the box of Junie B, Pinkalicious, and other typical characters! Pretty smart 1st grader if I do say so myself! 😊 4y

Dr. Seuss's 'The Cat in the Hat' is such an exciting story to read. The fiction life that Seuss provides for the little ones is so silly that they can't help but follow along. Check out Ms. Lawson's Kindergarten class at Woodlands Elementary in Longwood, Florida with their blue hair representing the Things in this story! LOVE THEM! ❤️ #ReadAcrossAmericaDay #UCFLAE3414SP17

DrSpalding Ms. Lawson, this amazing! #readacrossamerica 5y

Mlegg I love this idea! Those little hats are so cute and I'm sure the kids LOVED wearing them as they read the story. A great way to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday!☺ 5y
