panI picked up this book as part of my Poetry “Challenge.” The quotations are because I tend to read a fair amount of poetry in a year. What I decided to do in order to raise the challenge is to explore poets whose work I am not familiar with. This is how I ended up with this book. I had heard of the author, was intrigued by the fact that it won a National Book Award, & decided it would do for my first book in this challenge. ⬇️ #MyChallengingYear

WanderingBookaneer Unfortunately, I did not enjoy it. I have to make peace with the fact that I prefer meditations on nature. There were literally a couple of gems, but I would not recommend purchasing this one. If you can, borrow it from your public library. 6y
