#Pileofshame
Every year I attempt to whittle down my enormous tbr by challenging myself to read 25 books that I already own (chosen through various criteria). This is what remains of 2020‘s challenge. Which book should I prioritise? ⁣

It‘s interesting to note that I‘ve read 76 books so far this year - and yet these 8 still remain 🤦‍♀️ #moodreader

ImperfectCJ If it's of any help, I loved Disappearing Earth. One of my favorite reads of the year so far. 4y
CarolynM I liked Ransom, didn't like Sweet Tooth 4y

#redsandgreens for #seasonsreadings2016 and Rushdie is the only one that I read from this pile (I don't count the bottom book - this is collection of essays about important stories in world literature and the third book is collection of quotes in Latin) #pileofshame 😳

Lynnsoprano Is that Czech? 7y
Simona No, it's Slovenian 😉 7y

vivastory What is the English title of the bottom book? It sounds interesting. 7y
vivastory @simona Are you Slovenian? I love Slovenian poetry. (Especially Tomaz Salamun & Dane Zajc) 7y
Simona @vivastory My literal translation is "Literary stories from world literature", but unfortunately isn't translated... I'm Slovenian and yes, we are nation of poets? and we have some excellent poetry, but I'm not huge poetry reader? ...Šalamun and Zajc are very popular here in Slovenia, especially Zajc, his poetry is sweet and heartwarming❣ Do you read them in English? 7y
vivastory @simona yes, I don't know Slovenian. 7y

Who doesn't love the buy two get one free table at Barnes & Noble? I just couldn't resist. Two frightening tales and a new John Irving masterpiece. #pileofshame #addingtomylibrary
