Pickpick

I know there are still a few days left in February but after finishing the tagged book I am declaring FEBRUARY OVER! 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Special thanks to @patchshank for bringing it to my attention during #NYWD2021 and to @monalyisha for setting us up.

You‘re a full time clerk in a rundown gas station at the edge of town. You‘re a recluse and an avid reader with presumably a wild imagination and failing memory. So, when your shrink wants you to ⬇️

Read-y_Picker start keeping a journal , naturally you start a blog to which you post accounts of the seriously messed up paranormal phenomena you witness daily. A naked cowboy ghost in the restroom, killer mutant raccoons, garden gnomes, hand plants (you read that right, don‘t ask), and a lot more… this novel by a real-life gas station clerk-turned-blogger is a veritable roller coaster of WTF-did-I-just-read to the very last page. 👏👏🎬 14mo

monalyisha I‘m *very* interested in this one! I‘d never heard of it before running down @shadowspeak17‘s list & it seems so strange & unique. 2y
LeeRHarry @squirrelbrain definitely! 😀 2y
shadowspeak17 Yay, excellent choices! 😄 I hope you like them! Project Hail Mary was universally loved by my book club, which was a first. 😂 Battle Royale is probably the most engrossing book I‘ve read this year. Bad Blood was fascinating. Apparently the author has a podcast covering the trial too. I haven‘t listened to it yet, but another Litten told me about it recently. So if you end up liking the book, it might be worth checking out. 😊 2y
shadowspeak17 @monalyisha it definitely was strange and unique. I‘d highly recommend it. I‘ve only given out two five-star ratings so far this year, and The Hole got one of them. 2y
