TheBookgeekFrau @hissingpotatoes Thank you😊 I enjoyed the story(ies) overall, but found the reading to be too tedious at times with detail overkill. I skipped a lot of each book 😬 The Vampire Lestat was my absolute favorite (no skipping in that one) 6y
hissingpotatoes Ha yeah, overkill and tedious are definitely the right words for my experience too! Book 4's body thief plotline was interesting, but the David plotline is what angered me and made me put it down. 6y

hissingpotatoes Maybe David was in the later books I never got to. In 4 my problem was the rape factor of him ultimately being turned into a vampire after an entire book of him insisting on remaining human. Really turned me off. 6y
