so-soI really wanted to love this book. I did love the experience of reading it and the first two-thirds. But after the big reveal you know is coming to ruin everything, it fell apart for me. It became maudlin and seemed to manipulate the characters to a desired end rather than letting it play out according to their character arcs. #elizaandhermonsters

🔟 Day: RED GOLD GREEN
These are all books I bought & read this year! Right now I‘m preparing myself for the journey back to Greifswald. I‘m actually really glad I am leaving because my sister hates me so much. I also have to do some university stuff, most importantly a short lecture about John Dewey. And I also miss my books and my bed and my snacks. So yeah.
