RaeLovesToRead @rabbitprincess I watched a TED talk by the author and she was totally different to how I was expecting from the tone of the book. "Perky" science writing (or should I say perky "science" writing?) annoys me. I felt the same reading Gut by Giulia Enders. It's like "let's all find out how amazing Mr Intestine is, OK guys?" ? 1y
