I checked the BBC Radio Player app and found this audio drama about J.R.R. Tolkien and his wife Edith. I'd save it for when we get to the story of Beren and Luthien in The Silmarillion, but it's only available to listen to for a little less than a month.

Life has been busy lately, and my Serial Reader issues keep getting set aside for work and other reading. So, I'm spending a little time catching up this evening and then listening to the audio adaptation currently available through the BBC.

I've been curious to read this story since I read Rebecca and realized they were both by Daphne du Maurier. It's currently available in 3 short and slightly abridged audio episodes through BBC 4, and listening might be even creepier than reading it since I couldn't speed up to get to the end.
