pickI have to say I think this has just leapt into the lead as my favourite book of 2022. A great mix of a detective story, historical fiction and a feel for life in early days of the Second World War in Germany. So many themes covered in this book and I just couldn‘t stop reading. Always loved Simon Scarrow‘s writing and this books shows why. In case you can‘t tell I love it and strongly recommend it. This could even be made into a series. 💕
