Oh #NCBD, how do I love you? Let me count the ways:

1️⃣ Saga #58
2️⃣ Skottie Young variant covers
3️⃣ Star Wars comics (👀 Han Solo & Chewbacca cover)
4️⃣ Knights of Steel #6 (Batman as a medieval knight!)
5️⃣ Department of Truth, Vol. 3 (when unchecked conspiracy theories become real)

So much great reading & fantastic art today!

Saga Day! #58 is out today.

cheesemoi Ah, I‘d fallen out of touch with this one! I used to buy the volumes religiously lol, but the hiatus knocked it off my radar a few years ago! 2w

Book #58: After a super busy weekend, I was so happy to spend Halloween Sunday reading this book. This book was so cute! There was so much to love about it - witches, romance, small town college setting in the Georgia mountains, female family. It‘s an easy, fun, light read. It does wrap up rather quickly at the end but I didn‘t mind that too much. Never mix vodka and witchcraft.

Dasquirt8 I loved this! 7mo

I am now def a huge TJR fan. While there are some echoes of The Castaway, this is the story Helen Hunt‘s character didn‘t get to tell. TJR weaves in and out of an unlikely triangle. I keep hoping she chooses Jesse AND Sam even though I know she can‘t. I cheered for Emma each time. She has so much guilt but is so strong. Book #58 in 2021

21 #58 The last couple books in the series have become “preachier and preachier.” I‘ve overlooked it because I I wanted to know what happen to the characters. Maggie has gotten holier than thou and the book seems to take itself a little too seriously. So it‘s official, I don‘t care what happens to the character anymore. That is when I know it‘s time for me to stop a series. Last one for me.

Finished this right before Station 19 & Grey‘s Anatomy today! I have been wanting to read this for a long time. It‘s about a girl whose mother and “aunts” are psychics and a boy who is looking for a long-lost Welsh King. It‘s full of interesting facts and relationships among friends. I am anxious to read the next one! #100YEARS100BOOKS #58 #BookSpinBingo #BS #13 #BFC21 #SERIES2021 #YApril #ThankfulAthon

TheAromaofBooks I just finished this series & am on to Call Down the Hawk. I quite liked them, although I wasn't 100% satisfied with some of the ways Stiefvater chose to answer story questions in the conclusion... but that's down to personal preference haha 13mo
Allylu @TheAromaofBooks My daughter is a fan of Maggie Stiefvater, has met her briefly 2 or 3 times and heard her speak. I like the way she crafts her story, but I did have unanswered questions at the end - but there are 3 more books, so... Glad to hear your view. 13mo
TheAromaofBooks I definitely feel like this book felt more like it was setting up a story than it was its own story, if that makes sense. The conclusion of the books was satisfactory - it's not like she left a bunch of loose ends - there were just a couple of things I wish had gone a different direction than they did lol I also heard her speak when she was on tour for All the Crooked Saints & so enjoyed her presentation. 13mo

Book #58: This book has been on my TBR for so long and then I say that Emory homecoming was doing a Q&A with the author so I read it this week just in time! Truly wish I could hear a lecture like that after every book I read, so insightful!

#58 a double sided Star Wars theme one? Don‘t remember how I got this. Not a huge Star Wars fan but cool book mark.

CrowCAH Oooh I LOVE it 😍 The coloring really highlights the lightsaber‘s glow! 2y
