Playing for Keeps
Playing for Keeps: A Neighbor from Hell Novel | R.L. Mathewson
6 posts | 36 read | 11 to read
Done with being the world's biggest pushover, Haley decides that things are going to change starting with the aggravating neighbor who has too much charm and not enough restraint. What she didn't expect was to be sucked into his world, but Haley has a game plan and she won't let herself forget just what the bad boy next door is capable of. The last thing Jason expected was for his little shy neighbor to go Rambo on him over some ruined flowers. After he decides to take her under his wing he can't help but that notice that she fits very nicely in his life. Now the only left is to convince her that this is anything but a game.

So much humor, so much heart, Playing For Keeps is definitely worth the read. I think the best part about this book is watching the apprentice become the master over time. When Haley comes into her own and Jason finally becomes the man she knew he could be, you kinda wanna give them both a high five for a job well done.

The banter was what kept this alive. The middle to the end the story started to lose my interest. Needless to say, I did finish. But, I wished the spark continued

One of many ebook reads. Getting pretty used to this. #playbooks
This book is surprisingly funny. 🤣 Not a huge fan of romantic comedies but this book is anything but cheesy. It has a lot of fun moments and can get steamy too at times. ♨️ ♨️

This was the first audio I listened to with Audible's new Romance Package b/c I already had the book on my kindle. Listened while I've been moving over the past few days. The first half is hilarious! These characters' immaturity made it even funnier. Toward the end, the humor faded a little as they had to work thru an issue. Resolution was reached and the epilogue was great. I'll slowly be continuing with the series for the laughs. #romantsy
