This the 13th Duncan Kincaid/Gemma James mystery, and it does not disappoint. Gemma becomes involved through her friend Tim in the disappearance of a little girls parents. Duncan gets Scotland Yard involved after the dad is found murdered. Gemma becomes obsessed with keeping the little girl safe. Personal issues complicate matters, and the ending is a wonderful surprise. This whodunnit kept me guessing until the end. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have a ton of books checked out from the library, and another ton on my kindle & bookshelf, but I'm heading back for more Kincaid and James. At least I'll soon be caught up & can read other things!
