The sinister puzzle of an FBI linguist's past is far from finished in a gripping novel of twisted family ties, from USA Today bestselling author Brianna Labuskes.FBI forensic linguist Raisa Susanto thinks she's through with the past now that her psychopathic serial killer sister, Isabel, is locked away forever. Then Raisa receives a letter from Isabel. It's just a single message: By the time you read this, I'll be dead.Soon after, Isabel is discovered dead in her cell, forcing Raisa back into her depraved orbit--one that includes a band of true-crime worshippers obsessed with Isabel, her killing spree, and those who survived it.When a new victim is killed in the same manner that made Isabel notorious, Raisa and FBI forensic psychologist Callum Kilkenny aren't just tasked with finding out who killed Isabel and why. They're hunting for a protg following in Isabel's footsteps. Raisa must uncover the truth--whether or not she's ready for it--before someone else dies.

And the book I picked off the kindle! This was a pleasing closure to this trilogy about a FBI forensic linguist and her complex and unusual sisters. I would have liked a bit more of her linguist speciality which was such an interesting part of the earlier books but it was still a speedy and satisfying twisty read

The most recent book in the #RaisaSusantoSeries focuses back on Raisa and her sisters. Raisa receives a hand delivered note that promises that, as the title suggests, by the time she reads it, her oldest sister will be dead. She and Kilkenny dive into investigating her sister‘s last days while her other sister seeks answers of her own. I‘m not really sure where the series can go from here as far as personal connections to cases go!

I love, love, love this series! And this book is so good! We are once again in the world of serial killer Isabel Parker. Will she successfully manipulate her sisters yet again? Told in a back and forth timeline between Raisa and Delaney, we get a disorienting version of events. All of the characters are dysfunctional but you can‘t help rooting for almost all of them. The ending is so satisfying. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
