Written by a Harvard grad, this story of Jack and Zoe who work towards their scientific belief that they have found a cure for aging. Pressure comes from Jacks upbringing to Zoe being a woman in science. Shows the pressure of academia and the money that can be gained from it but the money also becomes the means instead of the scientific result. Excellent read…shows the real pressure of being that scientist remembered and tenured.

This novel reminded me of classic science fiction—the kind that feels ripped from the headlines, grounded in possibility and plausibility. This is where Taylor‘s talent shines. Her ambitious, intellectually rigorous storytelling thrives on its intricate exploration of time, biotech, & human ambition. As someone drawn to layered narratives, I appreciated how the structure mirrored the infinity. 3.5 stars rounded up to 4

This book centers on two college Harvard students, Jack & Zoe. They share a passion for science, working in the same lab with a common vision to develop an anti-aging drug. They become successful, drop out of Harvard & build a start-up company.

We follow our main characters through a soul mate like friendship to lovers, into betrayal, hope & tragedy. Taylor does an amazing job showcasing the world of start-ups, &!how fragile dreams are.
