Assassination Classroom, Vol. 2
Assassination Classroom, Vol. 2 | Yusei Matsui
3 posts | 13 read | 1 to read
Ever caught yourself screaming, "I could just kill that teacher"? What would it take to justify such antisocial behavior and weeks of detention? Especially if he's the best teacher you've ever had? Giving you an "F" on a quiz? Mispronouncing your name during roll call...again? How about blowing up the moon and threatening to do the same to Mother Earth unless you take him out first?! Plus a reward of a cool 100 million from the Ministry of Defense! Okay, now that you're committed... How are you going to pull this off? What does your pathetic class of misfits have at their disposal to combat Teach's alien technology, bizarre powers and...tentacles?! A sexy new teacher comes to Class 3-E to do the students' job for them. When the 3-E students begin exhibiting signs of self-esteem, Principal Asano demands that Koro Sensei crush their spirits so they continue to set a bad example for the rest of the school to rise above. Then a class field trip goes terribly wrong when two 3-E girls are abducted. Who will come to their rescue ?"

Sleep won over reading last night, but I managed to hit the halfway point before going to bed. I read a bit of Gabourey Sidibe's book; I'm going to finish the rest on audio. I read about half of Assassination Classroom vol. 2. I'm going to finish that while my coffee is brewing. I'll jump on Shadow House 2 next.

I don't think I'm going to make 24 hours, but I know I'll read more than I did during the last readathon and I'm satisfied with that. 😀

Sace I've been meaning to try the Assassination Classroom series. How is it? 7y
BekahB @Sace it's...weird. I was on the fence with volume 1, but a lot of manga readers like the series and I was intrigued enough to continue. It's very goofy; there are a lot of puns and over the top silliness. It's not the type of manga I typically read, but it's growing on me. My co-worker watched the anime a couple weeks ago. He said the he wasn't sure what he watched, but he liked it. That about sums up my feelings after reading volume 2. 😂 7y
Sace @BekahB goofy and silliness. 🤔 Sounds like just my thing. I will have to give the first few volumes a try. 7y
