This was weird. I am glad I read it because of its historical interest, but I can't say I enjoyed it, although the dated attitudes to ie, smoking during pregnancy made me smile a bit. Trigger warning for rape(s) and abuse, which the hero brushes off incredibly easily (not that that's necessarily a bad thing - at least, she's resilient). Too much mysticism (hence the photo of the book next to the Xmas crib), tarot & astrology for my liking.

Recovering from a bad flu with a warm honey and orange drink, and a 1962 feminist SF novel by the author who introduced the idea that feminists were witches (and vice-versa).
