Goodnight, Goodnight, Lahaina Town | 
We returned from Maui a week ago today. It was our first trip to any of the Hawaiian islands, and beautiful West Maui welcomed us with open arms. We fell in love. Lahaina Town just took our breath away. It has taken me since Wednesday morning to figure out a way to post. I have just been in tears daily as I watch the stories of the devastation of this beautiful place, that we just left, unfold. ⬇️
LaraReads Every time we travel, I have to visit a local bookstore. We went to the Maui Friends of the Library in Lahaina. It was so quaint, and sadly, destroyed by the fire. I bought the book bag to support them, the Hāna book to support a local author, and the Goodnight, Goodnight, Lahaina Town book as something a family member might like. LaraReads A reminder of a place that doesn‘t exist any longer. 💔 The Moloka‘i book I bought second-hand at a Salvation Army that was also destroyed in the blaze. Just heartbroken & feeling so helpless. 9mo
