This is the second book in the DS Jenna Morgan series. I found some of it to be repetitive and I think there was some lazy writing in some spots. The main villains and the side villains in both books were misogynistic dog haters with mommy issues. I don‘t know if the author thinks all criminals have these traits or what but I hope the villain in the next book in the series is not the same as the first two. I also became annoyed when, (cont)⬇️

CatLass007 on two separate occasions the main character is described as looking at the lifeless body of a still living person. I really think it‘s lazy writing. I did kind of see the unexpected twist coming, but I was still a little surprised. The third book in the series is about a family killed in a fire that was arson. So, we‘ll see what characteristics the villain has in that book. I‘m listening to these on Audible and the first three books are free. 9mo

This is the second book in the series. Jenna is out to solve another spree of murders 🕵️‍♀️ There‘s a definite pattern but things are never as they seem. 📖
