Jumping into the #haikuaday #haikuhive for July.
I was really moved by an article from Alta Journal I got in my email today by the author of the tagged book. It brought a lot of things together for me. It's a weird combination of banal and cryptic in haiku form, but I hope to blog about it once it percolates a little more.

ImperfectCJ @GingerAntics The epiphany for me is how empathy relates to pretty much every disparate interest I have, from teaching and writing to acting, singing, playing piano, and even hiking, the idea that I do those things to experience empathy/emotion and then put them out in the world as a way of inviting others to share that experience. But that was too much to fit in a haiku. 😁 1d
