Thank you,Kensington Publishing, for this good read!!I enjoyed it from beginning to end.I enjoyed the realistic descriptions of Italy & the beautiful castle where much of the story took place. This novel has a mysterious side.It kept me reading to try to figure out answers to the puzzles.I didnt see the end coming.Im not sure that any of the characters were likable, but something tells me that was the author‘s intent. All in all, this was a good book

This historical fiction set in 1965 Italy is a bit of a mystery, has a romance and is set around the making of a horror film being filmed in an old castle that is supposed to be haunted. What I liked best about it was learning about the old resentments the Italians felt towards each other in the years after the war and the surprise ending to the mystery. It was a fun, albeit light, read and while not amazing, still worthy of my time. 3.5/5 stars

Doing some work this weekend and, of course, some reading! Almost finished with The Woman in the Castello. So, so good! Red Rabbit up next and it sounds bananas! Wild West bounty hunters after a witch with lots of ghosts & goblins along the way. #WeekendReading #WhatAreYouDoingThisWeekend

I think Ozzie‘s glad to have us home finally. He‘s checked Gatsby out very thoroughly to see where she‘s been. He‘s less concerned with checking me out but I‘m glad I‘ve seemingly been forgiven for my two week absence.
