I'll give this one 2 stars just because I really liked the setting. This book will leave you with the feeling that nobody can be that blind. The main character misses every single red flag. I saw every plot twist coming from a mile away. It's tiring having these great locations and ideas, then throwing in whiny annoying characters, bad plot, and even worse, ending. I loved Diana's first book, hated her second, and now 3rd is just meh. 2/5

Lying in the Deep follows Jade as she sets sail on the Campus on Board ship, for a semester at sea.
The adventure is soon marred by a gruesome murder. Jade realizes that she has become a suspect and races to clear her name. More deaths occur, and Jade finds herself trying to untangle a complicated web of motives and secrets. Lying in the Deep is a thrilling murder mystery with an atmospheric, claustrophobic setting and unpredictable twists.

This was an entertaining, quick listen! I thought it sounded like a fun thing to study abroad aboard a cruise ship, that is until bad things started happening and there was no where to go. I also was pretty surprised by the ending, which I always love. Easy, enjoyable, and perfect for this time of year. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

This was a rather twisty, turney novel that kept me on the edge of my seat. It's one where I knew that there was a lot more going on below the surface, but I wasn‘t sure exactly what. It‘s rather fast-paced, and I flew through it, wanting to know what was going on. I enjoyed the characters and what each of them brought to the story. While I had a lot of suspicions about what was actually going on, and was halfway correct, there was one surprise.

The drama and the twists in this book are crazy. I thought I had it figured out, and in some ways, I did, but I didn't know how everything worked together. I honestly wasn't expecting to enjoy this so much. And the ending, I didn't see that coming. The last half of the book was probably my favorite, but overall, the story was pretty good.

This book is crazy good (with emphasis on the CRAZY)! Jade embarks on a trip around the world for college (Campus on Board) but doesn‘t expect murder, intrigue, and jealousy to prevail. But it does and my head was spinning! I initially got this because I had gone on Semester at Sea but it was tame compared to this!🤪😱😝

This was an intense YA thriller with a lot of stuff going on. I enjoyed it! Jade's best friend and her boyfriend do the unthinkable and ditch her for each other, but there has to be more to it than that... Jade is dead set on still attending Semester at Sea but when finds Laney and Silas on the cruise ship with her, she knows she needs answers. Little does she know the chaos that will ensue! Everyone is a suspect in this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read!
