This was the heartbreaking true story of one young German Jewish man who survived the Łódź ghetto in Poland as well as Auschwitz, the Dachau Death March, and Buchenwald. I was just a little bit disappointed that only 15 pages were dedicated to his time working with the horses, but this was a very worthwhile read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A really good read. It is a hard read bc it's a Holocaust Memoir. I learned some interesting facts that broke my heart and made me sad.

Henrik (Henry) survived 4 concentration camps. He was at Buchenwald when it was liberated by the USA Army. This is his story.

My 5th ARC this month!
