I wanted to like this more than I did unfortunately. It was trying to be a romance with elements of more serious material on issues related to adoption and belonging, but then on top of that we had ghosts and also fake dating and quite confusing world building with ghosts being from other universes and also being able to be seen and touched by everyone…? I wish there‘d been fewer ideas in here and they‘d been done better. #scarathlon #skeletoncrew

This was not was I was expecting… I expected light and fluffy and this was much deeper and heavier. A good story about finding and honoring your true self!

Went to meet my mom for dinner at a new restaurant in town, and it happened to be across the street from the library. So despite the stacks of books lying around my house, and the already overwhelming TBR on my Kindle, my bookish self thought, "can't hurt to pop in"! So I got a few romance novels and an S.A. Crosby. Such is the life of a certified book addict ?
