51/150 Simak's science fiction is often labeled as folksy or homey. It's easy to see why from this collection, where he is more interested in relationships, in what it means to be human, and what our humanity would mean when faced with aliens and robots, than he is in science, spaceflight and rayguns. I think this would be a good book for scifi fans and those who claim they don't like science fiction.
