#SnowedIn #JanuaryJazz

Loved this one. Freya and her two friends travel to Iceland to see the Northern Lights following the death of one of the friends and keeping a promise they made to themselves. They get snowed in for days over Christmas in a small community, and unexpected love develops.

#winterreadathon
Following the lives of four friends. Now they are travelling to Iceland in honour of one of them, but they have no idea about the life changing journey they are about to embark upon. The author focuses on environmental issues, sustainability, elderly care and folklore.
Grief at Christmas time was explored sensitively too.
If you love Nordic culture, great food and a whole host of supporting characters-this is the book for you.

Andrew65 Read the last four Jo Thomas books and loved them all.🎄🎄🎄 1y

This was a nice little festive read. The images created are stunning. Seeing the Northern lights is my dream too. The plot was steady and built to a clever, well written ending. I like how they all found their happiness. A sweet read perfect for Christmas. 4* #Netgalley 6pts for #TeamSlaughter

First book finished for #20in4.

This is another winner for Jo Thomas; I do enjoy her books. As Christmas approaches three women head to Iceland to fulfil a challenge to see The Northern Lights for a friend who has passed away. They chose to do it on her 40th birthday. Unfortunately the weather is bad that night and they find themselves snowed in at a small remote village. This then becomes a time of personal discovery for all of them.

Andrew65 A great flavour of Iceland within the book along with a hint of Romance. Will this time transform their lives? 2y
