Mehso-so

⭐️⭐️💫I wanted to like this book more than I did. The world building, magic, different gods, etc. was all interesting but this just felt so slow, even though it was almost continuous action. About halfway through I lost interest. I mostly listened to this one, and the audiobook narrators were ok but read SO slowly, so I wouldn‘t recommend reading it that way. Overall - cool cover, good premise, but I‘m not going to be continuing this series.

All his life, Cyrus Lythan had been told his parents‘ armada was the greatest in the world, unmatched by any fleet from the mainland continent of Gadir…standing at the edge of the castle balcony, his hands white-knuckling the balustrade, Cyrus watched their ships burn and knew it for a lie.

I have an obsession with monthly book boxes 😬 📦

I got these from my #CaffeineAndLegends book box

Why do there have to be so many good monthly book boxes and why do I want them all? 🤪
