pickThis is the first comic I‘ve registered here. The reason being: I don‘t read comics very often. However, I really did enjoy this one and found it refreshing. Though this comic was good, I felt that there was a lot of information-dumping in dialogue which left me confused as to what was happening or the science behind it, even though it was explained. I did really enjoy it and would recommend to all fans of sci-fi!

so-soThis YA science fiction graphic novel is a sad victim to terrible marketing. The blurb says it's a romance between two nonbinary teens from different solar systems, Fassen and Lu. It is not! It's Fassen's story of growing up in a rebel war society and travel jumping to Lu's peaceful world in a crisis. Their bond is clearly queerplatonic. The art is AMAZING, gorgeous human diversity in gender expression, body type, race. Also beautiful planets!
Today I spent four hours trying on every piece of clothing I own. I filled three trash bags with things that don't fit anymore and made a list of things I'm going to need to buy. It's been two years of t-shirts and joggers and not taking the best care of myself. It's time for a change. The afternoon was... not fun, but I did it! I'm going to reward myself by starting this beautiful looking graphic novel that I picked up the other day. 🧡
