Kanske �r det s� att sp�ken f�ds ur hemligheter. Stockholm, 2010-tal: Arton�riga Kasper har g�tt igenom en sv�r tid, men nu har han f�tt sitt dr�mjobb p� n�jesf�ltet Gr�na Lund. D�r m�ter han Iris som l�r honom hur man skr�mmer skiten ur sp�khusets bes�kare. Stockholm, 1980-tal: Sexton�riga H�kan och hans b�sta v�n Grim lever f�r sitt death metal-band. Men deras dr�mmar f�r ett abrupt slut efter Grims of�rklarliga d�d. H�kan l�gger ner bandet. Nu f�rs�ker H�kans son Kasper ta reda p� vad som egentligen h�nde. Tillsammans med Iris nystar han i de myter och ber�ttelser som omger det numera kultf�rklarade bandet och hans pappas b�sta v�n. Vem var Grim? Och varf�r visar han sig i Kaspers dr�mmar? Grim �r en gotisk sp�nningsroman som utspelar sig i samma Stockholm som den hyllade Norra Latin (2017). Det �r en ber�ttelse om ensamhet och gemenskap, v�nskap och familj, och konstens livsomv�lvande krafter.

This is an excellent mystery to be enjoyed by teens and adults alike. Bonus if you have an interest in death metal. Kasper, the MC, investigates the death of the rocker Grim from over 30 years ago with the help of Iris. The narrative style is interesting as there are dual timelines and supporting materials like appendices (I promise; they aren't boring). There is also a supernatural angle. 4 stars.

Set alternately in the 1980‘s and present day. About a group of young boys with a dark metal band and what happenened to their enigmatic lead singer. The present day plot is about Kasper (whose father was Grim‘s best friend and co-founder of the band), named for the late singer. Also about depression what it can do to you, and about Kasper‘s new friend Iris who is a really good friend.
