Today was really a difficult #augustphotochallenge for me. I had to ransack my boyfriend's bookshelves for a book on politics. Alas, I found this beauty the autobiography of FW de Klerk - an old South African President. I have enjoyed seeing everybody's contributions on #politicsandbooks and added a number of recommendations to my list.

Laalaleighh @Jellybeanbon haha good to know! He was very interesting! I didn't get much time to speak with him. Just told him I enjoyed his lecture. He was nice to me though! And I still have his lecture notes around here somewhere! 8y
Laalaleighh He had a lot to say on the regrets of apartheid, the difficulties of government transition, and the dangers of divisive rhetoric. That much I remember. 8y
