Unicorn Playlist
Unicorn Playlist: Another Phoebe and Her Unicorn Adventure | Dana Simpson
4 posts | 2 read | 1 to read
From newspapers to Nickelodeon, Phoebe and Her Unicorn is the most stunning unicorn feature around! This latest collection of Phoebe comics will delight middle grade readers and unicorn lovers of all ages. Best friends Phoebe Howell and Marigold Heavenly Nostrils march to their own beat, but life isnt all rainbows and unicorns. With so many problems in the world and drama at school, Phoebe wonders why unicorns arent in charge instead of humans. With Marigold, each day is full of magic, from introducing Phoebe to unicorn music to crashing a goblin popularity contest, and even tracking down long-lost family members like Infernus, the Unicorn of Death (who ends up being surprisingly adorable). In Unicorn Playlist, Phoebe and Marigold play all the hits.

I would use Unicorn Playlist the comic in my classroom for children to read during free time. This book can teach children more about comics and also be a very enjoyable read to the specific age group.

Unicorn Playlist: Another Phoebe and Her Unicorn Adventure is a comic book written and illustrated by Dana Simpson. This comic book is a a very playful, fun, and cute comic book perfect for children between the age of 7 and 12 years old. The comic book at times can talk about serious situations and problems children can learn from. There is also hard vocabulary but a glossary is provided for this reason. Overall it is such a cute comic!

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Phoebe and Marigold are up to their usual fun BFF things. For years, I‘ve been buying, reading, then mailing these to my niece, but she is now no longer interested. She doesn‘t read for pleasure anymore, apparently. Sad. So, idk if I‘ll continue after this. 😕

merelybookish That's disappointing but maybe your niece will come back to reading when she's older. You helped create a good foundation. 2y
Cinfhen Sad about your niece but kids fall in and out of love with books as they grow. Totally agree with @merelybookish 💚💚💚 2y

britt_brooke @Cinfhen Her parents, though both are educators, are (somehow) not readers and do not really foster a love for reading, so we‘ll see. I tried. 😬 2y
RamsFan1963 @britt_brooke Being an educator who doesn't promote reading is like being a doctor who doesn't believe in taking medicine. Very puzzling 🤔 2y
Megabooks I went in and out of reading for pleasure as a kid. Now I finish a book a day. Hopefully she‘ll find her way back. 2y
britt_brooke @RamsFan1963 Completely agree!! 2y
britt_brooke @Megabooks Hope so! I didn‘t become a reader until my 20s, so you just never know. 💚 (edited) 2y
Cinfhen Wow 😮 that is surprising about her parents lack of encouragement but as an aunt, you gave her a tremendous gift 💝 and I love your tree 🌲 2y
britt_brooke @Cinfhen Thank you! 🎄🤩 2y
marie3blue That‘s sad but hopefully it will just be for a season. Maybe when she‘s a little older you can pick the tradition back up with new books. As a fifth grade teacher I can tell you, they all have this surly phase. That is such a sweet and heartwarming tradition the two of you have shared. 🎄 2y
britt_brooke @marie3blue Thank you - I sure hope she‘s comes back around one day. 💚 2y
