Nope. Not for me this one. The characters were all despicable and parts of the plot made me very uncomfortable. Moving on!

Although this was very well-written & in a style that draws the reader in & keeps them engaged with the plot, the MCs were just awful. I started off very sympathetic to Caroline due to her loss, but her actions just became more & more unbelievable. The ending just made me want to pitch my Kindle across the room. 2⭐

TW: Abuse & paedophilia.

Thanks to NetGalley & publishers, HarperCollins UK/One More Chapter, for the opportunity to read an ARC.
