This is why I LOVE small independent bookshops - you discover the most amazing treasure! Picked this up today. Evidently Adrian Bell wrote a column for our local paper between 1950 and 1980 - and he lived just 2 miles from our new house. Excited to delve into this collection and see our new landscape through his eyes.
